Turkish properties in the sun...........iyi aksamlar from Ishik

World Abodes; guess it's not rocket science to guess what my company does
Let me introduce myself...
I'm Turkish, grew up in Essex, same age as Barbie but sadly that's where the similarity ends! Spent years living in Turkey and other countries. Live between Bodrum and Essex now and run a small, specialist property company selling high quality Turkish properties from reputable developers.
My company is based in the UK, selling Turkish properties to Turkey lovers worldwide. Heaps of experience in doing this, good and bad but my motto is treat as you wish to be treated and there's a God above. I've seen the property sector go from 0-60 in such a short time and all that it brings with it. It's enabled me to use this experience to ensure that only the best practices are continued. I've helped many people to become home owners in the sun and have an investment to enjoy. Investments to be proud of..
Turkey is a fantastic country and if you've been there, you're sure to want to go back... if not, why not discover Turkey this year?
Looking forward to interesting exchanges
Ishik (meaning light in Turkish)

Merhaba Ishak
I too am new to the forum.
Yes, Turkey is stunning whether you are in cosmpolitan Istanbul, experiencing the stunning coastline along the Turquoise Coast or have headed east towards areas like Diyarkabir or Lake Van (sorry I sound like a tourist brochure).
Unfortunately there are also some truly awful resort areas, which are built up and highly commercialised, catering mainly for western tourists and expat communities. This is where much of the cheaper property.
Buying property in Turkey can be quite complicated and when buying abroad it's always best to work with a reputable agency.
In recent years, many of the tourism areas and property markets in Turkey have really struggled. People who have bought in purpose built developments and indvidual villas a few years back are really struggling to sell with such a glut of new property on the market.
If I am going to the Western Coast I would probably prefer to be in one of the smaller towns like Datca or Gumusuluk - although Bodrum is fun when you want something more lively.
